WinEncrypt was developed to provide our clients with
ABSOLUTE privacy for their most sensitive data transmissions.
The methodology employed is a simple derivation of the
"book" codes used during the 1930's and surpasses all
DOD encryption standards.
If you use any of the commercial encryption utilities
your data is not secure, merely elaborately disguised
and waiting for a computer to apply all possible
permutations against the key with which it was
encrypted.
Any file, any format, and length may be encrypted using
any user-selected file as a key-file (also of any format,
any length).
The program will run only under Windows, and prompts the
user to enter the file to encrypt or decrypt along with
the file to use as a keyfile.
The program will exit when the user terminates a file
prompt with ENTER alone.
Output files are named by taking the system time and
appending the extensions .ENC(rypt) or .DEC(rypt). Eg.
184259.ENC would be output if the encryption process
began at 6:42:59PM.
Naturally, the identical keyfile must be employed
for both encryption and decryption.
All files are written to the directory in which the
source file resides.
This software is donated to the public domain in the
interest of privacy, and may be freely distributed for
any purpose without restriction.
